New Jimny for Sale in the UK

Suzuki’s UK Jimny stock has sold out and the model is no longer ordered from the factory for this market. Delivery-mileage imports are now the closest thing to a new Jimny available in Britain.

What “delivery mileage” means

The cars we describe as delivery mileage typically show between five and fifty miles on the odometer. That is transport, registration and a road test — nothing more. Mechanically and cosmetically they are new vehicles.

They are not pre-registered dealer stock that has sat outside for a year, and they are not ex-demonstrators. They arrive, they are registered, they are prepared, and they are sold.

Why there is no other route to a new one

Emissions rules ended UK passenger-car sales of the Jimny in 2020. The two-seat commercial workaround that followed was itself withdrawn as manufacturers moved to comply with the ZEV mandate. Suzuki UK now directs new-Jimny enquiries to approved used stock.

Meanwhile demand has not moved. The result is a used market where clean, low-mileage cars routinely sell above their original list price — and where an unregistered import at a fixed price is often better value than a three-year-old car with 30,000 miles on it.
