Jimny Nomad 5-Door

The Jimny Nomad is the five-door, four-seat Jimny that Suzuki never sold in the UK. Castle Motors imports them, registers them here, and supplies them with the Stage One Adventure Package fitted.

What the Nomad actually is

For the whole of the fourth-generation Jimny’s life, UK buyers had one body style: the three-door. The five-door version — sold as the Jimny Nomad in some markets and simply the Jimny 5-Door in others — adds 340mm of wheelbase and around 126 litres of luggage space behind the rear seats.

That extra length is what turns the Jimny from a charming two-seat curiosity into something a family can genuinely use. Rear doors, four proper seats, and a boot that will take a weekly shop rather than a rucksack.

Why you can’t buy one from a Suzuki dealer

Suzuki withdrew the passenger Jimny from the UK and Europe in 2020 because its CO2 output was dragging the company’s fleet average past the legal limit. It returned briefly as a two-seat commercial vehicle — a van, legally — before that was withdrawn too.

The five-door has never been homologated for UK sale at all. The only route to one is import, which is exactly what we do.

What “UK registered” means here

Every Nomad we supply arrives with UK registration completed. It has a V5C, a UK number plate, and is road legal from the moment you collect it. You are not buying a project or taking on a paperwork exercise.

These are also delivery-mileage cars. The examples in stock typically show between five and fifty miles — they are effectively new vehicles that happen to have taken an unusual route to the UK.

Specification

Our Nomads are SZ5-equivalent high-specification cars: 1.5-litre petrol, four-speed automatic, and Suzuki’s ALLGRIP PRO selectable four-wheel drive with a genuine low-range transfer case. Heated seats, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and a reversing camera are standard on this trim.
